App-open message
Shown once per player, on app open, after the update check and before the welcome wizard. Only the highest-priority message a player qualifies for is shown — never two at once.
Max 60 characters. Shown in the popup's own heading, which does not scroll — keep it short.
Max 1200 characters. Blank lines are kept.
a–z, 0–9, _ and – only. This is how each player remembers they have seen it, so never reuse an ID for a different message.
Highest wins when more than one is live.

Only players on this versionCode or newer.
Off by default. A first-time player's very first screen is the welcome wizard — a news popup before they even have a name is usually wrong. Turn this on for an actual "welcome to the game" message.
Not available yet — Cloud Storage is not enabled on the Firebase project.
The game already supports images, so this turns on with no app update once the bucket exists.
